Job Details:

Required Qualification:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field

Required Experience:

• 2-4 years of experience in software testing
• Experience in regression, functional, performance, load, stress, and integration tests
• Experience in creating comprehensive test procedures and performing black-box testing
• Experience in using defect-tracking tools to analyze, report, and track application defects and enhancement change requests

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan, designed, and execute test cases to confirm that functional test and performance requirements are met
• Create and maintain comprehensive test procedures for client-server applications from formal, written business requirements and standards documentation
• Perform regression, functional, performance, load, stress, and integration tests to ensure product performance and integrity following documented procedures standards
• Design comprehensive test cases for manual testing
• Execute system testing within QA environment(s) to validate defect fixes and functional enhancements to the system — using completed, comprehensive test procedures and supplemental test documentation
• Perform black box testing
• Perform white box testing and comprehend, and navigate within the database table structures
• Translate UI and business requirements standards to the system under test
• Create entry-level SQL queries involving multiple tables within the database structure
• Participate in requirements reviews with business analysts, development teams, and technical architects to ensure requirements are clear, concise, and testable
